Hi, I’m a Music Industry student here. I had a 3.89 GPA and graduated high school with my 2 year Associate of Art’s college degree. I find that the courses are challenging enough for me. However, I am not taking math or english or any of those classes (as I already have those credits) so I am really only taking music related classes. For this reason, the classes are challenging enough for me because I haven’t taken them before. I think that Drexel is very good about giving credit where credit is due, therefore although I am 18 and in my first “real” year of college, I am considered a sophomore and was awarded 53 credits for the work I did before I got here. If your son has taken AP courses and stuff like that he will most likely be able to skip the very basic english/math classes (I can’t give any information on CS classes though, sorry!) and go into more advanced ones. Also the summer before entering school, you can take classes that help place you into the appropriate class for you.

Hopefully this helps.
