Chance a duel citizen

Hello!
my stats:
ranked: 29/530
gpa: 3.85
hpa: 4.40
ACT:28 (English 23 Math 28 Reading 29 Science 33)
TOEFL iBT:98
Several extracurricular but I am just too lazy to report them all

Please chance me. I will chance back.

Your 28 ACT score puts you in the lower 25% range of those accepted to BC in recent years.

Those in that lower 25% range typically have some strong reason that makes them shine as a candidate - often EC related. When you say you’re too lazy to report them, how does that help us provide you with feedback?

I doubt that your chances are very good. In addition to an ACT score in the lower 25%, you will also have to overcome a subpar TOEFL score:

GPA good
ACT fair when factoring in the potential language difference.
ECs bothersome. Hard to be excited about your ECs if you yourself are “too lazy” to post them.

Finally, I suspect your odds would be better as a dual citizen. A duel citizen sounds a bit threatening.

^^Well said, Vinceh!

FYI … I am very sensitive to the fact that English is not your first language, but to help you when filling out applications etc. in the future, make sure you use the correct term “dual citizen”. Otherwise people might think you want to start a sword or gun fight!

haha all you doubters… i proved you all wrong… i just found out that i have been accepted on a scholarship hahaha i guess speaking four languages and playing on the u-17 swiss soccer team really helped

SwissAlpineClub:
Based on the wording and tone of the personal message you sent to me after my reply, I’m inclined to question the above statement.

jpm50, I was a bit skeptical too, mostly because decisions haven’t gone out yet. (Doesn’t it seem odd that, out of all the anxious BC applicants posting here on CC, he is the only one who has received his letter already?) It doesn’t matter, though, as he supposedly committed to Tulane yesterday:
