Like others, I think you can get multiple acceptances but you can get shut out too. What is the ultimate goal for after school? I have a guess.
UNC is a reach because state law limits the # of OOS students - I think to 18%.
That you have UMD puts you in great position no matter what if it’s affordable (you said not seeking aid but sometimes parents set different budgets for different schools) and you’d love to attend.
