Please look at and consider:
SUNY Geneseo
SUNY New Paltz
SUNY Purchase - know for acting, etc.
All three have film programs and will be safeties for you.
Tons of LACs - and just thinking to add 1-2 more or the SUNYs.

PS - Iowa is interesting because it’s large, vs. the crux of your list but it would be outstanding.
Another LAC to look at - if you’re willing to mix it up a bit - you’d get in, get merit and it’s excellent for English would be Sewanee in Tennessee.
Honestly, if you add a SUNY or two, I think it’s a great list.
