<p>first off, villanova was ranked no. 11 with their Business Program and their Engineering was ranked no. 1 on the east coast, so saying that their A&S are weak is incorrect. also, i was accepted for the class of 2013. I had a 31 on my ACT, 3.8 GPA with two AP’s, tons of extracurricular activities and sports involvement and got in EA. A friend of mine who had the same credentials as mine, but a lower GPA got rejected. Also, my counselor told me that Villanova was NOT using their wait-list this year and would not be drawing students off of it, because they were filled to capacity. they had the biggest application pool in the school’s history and took that bulk of their students EA, so that they could get top students.
