Are you looking at anything other than ranking? While these colleges might all have similar rankings they are also very different from each other. (Specifically, I would think for a sociology major and student activist, one of the ones you’ve dropped would on the face of it be a noticeably better fit, which is why I ask.)
Sorry for not explaining in detail I should have been more specific… If it’s because of the major, I also applied for philosophy for some schools and I’m also thinking of minoring in other humanities course. I’m actually interested in a variety of humanities and social sciences fields. That’s why I took courses from basic Statistics for Social Sciences course to philosophy, international politics and economics course (I didn’t mention it sorry) Also, while I am interested in different rights issues and activism, I actually would prefer to become a social sciences or humanities researcher. For college preferences, I think I pretty much don’t care much about number of students or areas(rural, urban, suburban…) Again, it’s my fault for not fully telling my courses, preferences, and different sorts of interests.
