Are you looking at anything other than ranking? While these colleges might all have similar rankings they are also very different from each other. (Specifically, I would think for a sociology major and student activist, one of the ones you’ve dropped would on the face of it be a noticeably better fit, which is why I ask.)

Sorry for not explaining in detail I should have been more specific… If it’s because of the major, I also applied for philosophy for some schools and I’m also thinking of minoring in other humanities course. I’m actually interested in a variety of humanities and social sciences fields. That’s why I took courses from basic Statistics for Social Sciences course to philosophy, international politics and economics course (I didn’t mention it 
sorry) Also, while I am interested in different rights issues and activism, I actually would prefer to become a social sciences or humanities researcher. For college preferences, I think I pretty much don’t care much about number of students or areas(rural, urban, suburban…) Again, it’s my fault for not fully telling my courses, preferences, and different sorts of interests. You really don’t have to answer this reply, this is pretty much for information. Thank you!
