@tigerrocks13 I never counted admittance. I am just applying to them as reaches because they provide good financial aid.
For UMich CoE, the current CoA for OOS is $55-$60k per year. You better check their NPC to see if it is affordable to you. They do provide good need based aids to very low income student from OOS, Your family income is above the first cliff for the best financial aid though. On the other hand, affirmative act has been banned for admission in Michigan. First gen college student help though. The mid 50 ACT for UMich CoE has been 31-34 in the last couple years but may be higher this year. The admission median was 33 last year.

michelle426, applying to SUNYs is nothing like applying to UCs because UC is an excellent system-easily the best state university system in the country. You’d have to check out the other side of the list for SUNY. It isn’t a top system but it is a very large one.
