This is also why the Common App gives you space to explain things about your application! Students don’t realize their schedule doesn’t have to be what they think admissions officers want. Work with your counselor on what’s best for YOU. There’s no perfect formula (except as someone else said, having 4 years of core subjects including foreign language is quite standard).
