Hey, sorry for the late reply, but I’d like to echo the comments I saw in the USC transfer thread. Your GPA is very solid, so you would not be wasting your time. The GE completion is also a plus. However, if you’re lacking a lot of the prep for chemistry, an SGR is almost all but certain to be coming your way. If you perform well in those classes though, I can see you having a strong chance of an acceptance 
If you have some prep for any other major (more than you have for chemistry), I would suggest you use that as your second choice major (since chemistry would fall under Dornsife, I believe, so switching should be effortless).
