You should definitely write National Merit Semifinalist and other impressive achievements, even if you consider them “generic.” Getting high PSAT scores is not generic and even if it is at some college, you can only benefit from it.

You still have better chances than the majority of people. The only reason all are reaches is that Ivy League admissions are so random that it’s very hard to predict accurately; you are certainly qualified but there’s some luck or hidden factors involved too.

RD means regular decision
HYPS are reaches for everyone, but you definitely have awesome ECs and honestly I think you’ll get into at least one of them!
Duke - Low reach (but this school is also a reach for everyone)
UChicago - High target/low reach
Columbia - Low reach

Basically all these schools are incredibly difficult to get into, but I’m pretty sure you’ll get into at least of a couple of them. Your ECs really show passion and I’m sure you’ll stand out!

GOSH! amazing ECs, scores, everything. I never say this but write good essays and I think that you’d be one of the most qualified candidates yale will see! dont forget to send music supplement!
