<p>Are you scheduled to retake the SAT? Have you taken the ACT? You are interested in a jazz minor, but what is your main field of interest?</p>
<p>Your scores and grades are on the low side. SC has great jazz programs. It is difficult to guess when we have no idea about your talent level in music.</p>
<p>The School is the Flora Thornton School of Music. Flora Thornton was a generous donor to the school and it was named in her honor. Look her up on Google. She was an amazing and accomplished woman.</p>
<p>Prepare for the interview. Check out the website. Learn about the fine faculty in the jazz department. Be ready to answer questions about the department and why you hope to attend.</p>
