For the scholarship, I would say you had a good shot. My interpretation is that selection for scholarships are usually much more subjective than admission. A friend with a 35 ACT, 4.0 GPA, founder and head of a volunteer tutoring group got a half tuition scholarship I think, while (if I recall correctly) someone with a 23 ACT, 3.0 GPA, no honors or AP, got full ride. Then again, she was a black female who had distinguished herself with through extracurriculars.
That being said, you are a very well qualified candidate to receive a merit scholarship. I couldn’t say whether it was certain, but I would say you have a good shot.</p>
