Chance former slacker/big USC fan for Business/Cinematic Arts

Your freshman and sophomore years have left you with a substantial, if not impossible, uphill battle. Here are 2 pretty sobering links that explain how tough USC is to get into:

[University of Southern California: Undergraduate Profile ? BusinessWeek](<a href=“Businessweek - Bloomberg”>Businessweek - Bloomberg)

http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/private/0910/FreshmanProfile2009.pdf

Boiling it all down:

Overall USC admit rate: 24%; Marshall admit rate: 21%
Average Admit GPA: 3.8; Marshall: 92% of admits 3.75 or better GPA, (the remainder are 3.5 - 3.74). Your GPA 3.20, soph & junior only: 3.41
USC Midpoint SAT: 1390/2050; You: 1180/1860

Additionally, the Marshall/Cinematic Dual Degree is even more competitive, admitting only 50 students per year.

I think USC/Marshall is an extreme long shot at best and the Cinematic Arts dual program impossible.
