how difficult it was to switch majors (like at Cal Poly)

Just to clarify, it isn’t hard to switch majors at Cal Poly. About 30% of students do. It’s very hard to switch into majors you wouldn’t have been admitted into and impossible to switch into SE or SE unless you started in the other or CPE.
