Chance/match me for t50 schools

GPA: 99.9% some courses are weighted, some aren’t. My participation brought my grade down but I’m working on that in the following years.

FRESHMAN YEAR: 99.01% SOPHOMORE YEAR: 101.4% Im going to be a junior next year. AP COURSES:(only offered one for sophomores) APUSH: 4

Extracurriculars:

• Art club 1 year • Robotics club 1 year • Student ambassador (I get volunteer hours from this) • Art internship • Lazard internship • Fall family festival volunteer at church (face painter, gained volunteer hours for t his) -Tutoring mainly asian students at a tutoring center K-5 (gain volunteer service hrs) (Volunteer teaching assistant) • Multimedia assistant: (gain volunteer hours from this too) editing pictures + videos for tutoring center to advertise for their company on certain social medias. • Paid sunday art classes for a little over a year

Unsure of total volunteer hours so far but it’s definitely atleast 50.

I’m planning on joining junior council and Origami for nonprofit to gain more volunteer hours next year but I’m unsure.

The majors I’m thinking about are: business, finance, architecture, and maybe pharmacy. (less likely)

I’m a first gen asian female. My school does not offer class rank either or honor courses but I’m considered an honor student there.

I havent taken the SAT but let’s say I get around a 1200 because I really don’t have that much hope in that for myself.

If possible please recommend me some colleges too preferably in or near NY that my stats are on track for.

Possibly need scholarship depending on how much the school costsZ

Can you use the template and answer the questions in it?

Your state of residency and cost constraints can be significant in determining which colleges are realistic for you. Also, weighted GPA is not relevant unless the weighting system matches that of the college you apply to.

NYC area, low-middle class. Should I still make a new post using the template anyways?

It would be easier for others to answer if you do.

We need your unweighted GPA in core courses only, on a 4 point scale to best help you/give guidance. Also knowing your budget would be helpful.

Note that most architecture courses don’t transfer easily to other majors so you need to be pretty sure about it if you choose that as a major. Also acquaint yourself with the differences between 4-year preprofessional BA/BS degrees majoring in architecture vs 5-year professional BArch degrees. Some colleges require a portfolio for admission while others don’t.

In general, all the above majors tend to be somewhat more competitive than overall admit rates for colleges, so bear that in mind too.

And on the Architecture front “T-50” is somewhat irrelevant. Though I might argue the whole idea of T-20/T-50 is somewhat irrelevant in any case.

Assuming when you say Architecture you suggest becoming a licensed architect. The website has a listing of schools that offer 5 year B-Arch programs and M-Arch programs.

For your convenience, I’m posting the template below. You can copy-paste and fill it out instead of starting a new thread.
