  • Kindergarten Teacher Assistant Volunteer/Treasurer: Coded program in JavaScript that manages tithe donations. Caretaker of 15 children. Restore church facilities: WiFi routers, lights, screen projector. Over 300 service hours.

-Co-Director/Scriptwriter of Theatre Production: Co-led group of 42 students to direct Les Misérables. Co-main scriptwriter in translating & adapting own version of play. 100-150 audience members.

-Varsity Swim Captain: National High-School Swimming Competition; Breaststroke Second and Third Place All Ages in National competition. (not fast enough for ncaa d1 tho)

  • Internship at CGV: Just did part-time for money :slight_smile: Youngest intern. Assisted manager during briefings and daily evaluations. Worked in ushering, ticket box, & concession stand.

  • High school Student Council: Led 2 departments of 8 students to advertise/organize monthly events. Raised $2k+ for student facilities

  • Debate: 5th NSDA _ & NHSDLC _. Trained 15 members & reviewed their cases. 4 Students: 2nd NSDA Taiwan & 5th NHSDLC. Gold Medal 5% acceptance.

  • Community Service: Construct 5 houses & facilities for _ impoverished denizens. Best Worker Award for Dedication, Hard Work, & 3 Consecutive Years of Volunteer.

  • House Leader (10% acceptance): Led 1 of 4 houses in school. Organized house games to drive student interaction & school spirit among all grades. Won House of the Year 2019-2020.

At NSDA Nats? Is this your ranking? In which event? Speech or Debate?

NHSDLC won’t matter for colleges, performance at NSDA competitions will. Did you get 2nd in NSDA Taiwan or did someone you trained? If it wasn’t you, I don’t think it matters. Did you attend any international competitions & do well this year?

I’m not an admissions rep - but i would say no, no, and no.

You should always apply - you never know - but I would move down - even an Emory or WUSTL are unlikely.

I would find schools such as UGA, Rochester, Florida - in that 30-70 range - that have both majors you want - and those would be target schools.

If money an issue, then your Alabama, Arizona, South Carolinas can be fallbacks (safety).
