<p>I offered my advice on the Oberlin thread. I think you have to be careful with any college that is need-aware for international students; you’re competing not just for a seat in the freshman class, but also for grant money, most of which is going to go to domestic students.</p>
<p>Schools generally considered similar to Wesleyan but, somewhat easier to get into include, Connecticut College, Bates (ME), Macalester ( MN), Grinnell (IA), Occidental (CA), Whitman (WA), Skidmore (NY) and several of the Seven Sisters colleges.</p>
