Chance me! Class of 2019 Applicant, UIUC School of Engineering!

Never apply undecided if you have an idea, which it seems you do, of what major you’d like to take. They will consider you automatically for DGS (undecided). As for your academic credentials, while your ACT composite and the Math subscore are good, your unweighted GPA is inconsistent with that. AP scores are not considered for admission purposes, although the actual courses that you’ve taken in high school will help your weighted GPA, as is evident in your weighted GPA. Explain your special situation. I’d say your chances are slight reach for Engineering due mainly to the fact that competition for the limited seats is intense, but, I think, at the very least you may get a 2nd choice in engineering, or at the very least, your odds of getting an offer to DGS is likely.
