<p>My daughter was deferred. Applied as an English major, heavily involved in theatre all 4 years, ACT 35, weighted GPA 4.6/4.0 top 10% , We contacted the admissions counselor to tell her UChicago was still her #1 choice, submitted updated transcript. Her grade pt went up to 4.7 and her rank increased to top 8%, she got all A’s and 1 B in her 5 AP classes last semester but I am not real confident she’s going to be admitted RD. Fingers crossed. She doesn’t really have a hook, she’s a white kid from the suburbs. :(</p>
