Chance Me: First-gen student with lower GPA but good extracurriculars and essays (CSUs & UCs) [CA resident, 3.5 UW, 3.85 UC GPA, Environmental Science or Ecology]

UNR is sort of a last resort safety for me because it is still slightly more expensive than a UC. With the Western Exchange Program financial aid I’ve recieved, scholarship money from the school, and additional estimated financial aid it would be around 18k. So Humboldt would be more affordable for me and I will be applying!
