got deferred, honestly though i am not too upset, it seems as if only private school kids + legacy/hooks get in EA/ED, literally no one from my school got in and i can assure there are many other qualified kids

Good luck in RD! Do you happen to know if Princeton is like Harvard or Yale? As in do they defer the majority of REA applicants (Harvard) or does deferral actually mean something (Yale)?
From now here are my current results
Accepted: Princeton, GA Tech, CMU, UIUC, Purdue, UF, UCF
Waitlisted: Cornell, Penn, Berkeley, Northwestern, Rice, UCLA
Rejected: MIT, CalTech, Duke
And waiting in stanford today but Princeton is looking favorable for me
