Brown and Penn’s admission rates are what, 5-6%? UCLA, Michigan, and Berkeley aren’t that far behind that. Those are daunting odds for any unhooked applicant no matter what your stats and EC’s, so no one can be “pretty sure you will get into these schools.” Take your shot, but manage your expectations and make sure you have some match and safety schools on your list that you can afford.
