Chance me for boarding school

My scores were really, really low so maybe it will help your percentile. For prepping though, I bought a big ISEE/SSAT prep book and worked through it. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

My verbal was the lowest as well and I found that making flashcards were very helpful, not only for understanding words but for knowing different prefixes and suffixes. It’s the night before and I feel confident in my verbal ability. Math was my strongest and im currently taking geometry, so i just went over algebra topics that are high-yield and i forgot and some ssat geometry when helped as well. My reading is good as well and I feel prepared for the ssat tomorrow, wish me luck (when do the test scores usually come out?, i forgot)

Yeah I bought a ssat/isee princeton review book and i did the drills for those, especially for the topics i stuggled in such as verbal. I also found the official ssat book to be helpful as multiple people say that the practice tests tend to be harder than the actual test, and I hope that this is true. I’ve done like 2 months of prep, including saturday ssat classes and im taking it tomorrow so wish me luck

good luck!! and also when the test scores come out depends on what type of ssat you’re taking(ig). i took a paper test which took about 10 days for the result. if you take like at home tests or online ssat, it might be different.

Yeah I finished the paper test issues at my school a few minutes ago, and feel like I didn’t go good because of the amount of questions I skipped especially for verbal. I skipped 8 for verbal, and it was more but I made educated guesses to reduce the amount and quantitative was 6 I think. Is this feeling normal or it is just me?

I am taking the ISEE and the SSAT because I want to gauge results.

yeah i felt like that too so i’m guessing it’s pretty normal to feel like that
