@lookagain Aside from this, FYI, D was admitted to UT Austin (Computer Science major) as OOS but decided to go BS/MD route. Chemical or any related Engineering major is a good backup plan B. You seem to be keen on getting into UT Austin as UG from your other threads.
I am auto-admit to UT Austin and it’s a good school so I might end up going there if I don’t get any of the BS/MDs. I was interested in chemical engineering but I have been told its too risky in terms of GPA for medical school so I am leaning more towards biochemistry now. What do you think?

I was wondering if you happened to hear back yet from any of the programs you were applying to. I go to a pretty competitive high school in Austin as well and have very similar stats. I already applied to a bunch of bs/md programs but I was just looking to see if anyone with similar stats had heard back (in the affirmative) from any of them.

@lookagain and others , Please comment if any of you have received interview call from Texas Tech UMSI or Baylor BSMD or Texas A&M PPC . Atleast I will know which one’s , I stand no chance.
