Chance Me for California Schools

Ok I just got my SAT Subject tests back. I got 760 math and 680 physics. Will my physics score hurt me if I’m applying to be an electrical engineer?

It won’t hurt you per se, as a 680 is still very good. However, given the stiff competition for EE/CS, you’ll need all the help you can get, and obviously a 750+ on physics would help, since that’s where many competitive engineering applicants’ scores are. Your chances are not significantly diminished, though.

Well, i don’t know where you’re getting your information, but I spoke with an admissions officer at berkeley and she said that they do take ELC into consideration.
