I am not very familiar with this college lingo, would you mind expanding on this?

Brown and Cornell both promise that if a student’s family income is less than $60,000/year and the family’s total assets are less than $100,000 (including the family home), then they will cover the remaining costs of attendance without requiring a contribution from the parent or a loan from the student. You said in Post #4 that you have run the NPC for Cornell, and it comes out to ~$30,000 for the 4 years, or about $7K/year.
