If you apply wisely there will be nothing to fear. ED is used if you have a clear first choice school, and I am not sure that you do.
Do you like Duke? Then look at Lehigh (not a safety), Syracuse, Alabama (medical scholars).
Do you like Brown? Consider Rochester and Pitt honors.
I will tell you first hand that the anxiety kicks in down the road…when you are applying to medical school, highly competitive graduate programs, competitive fellowships, etc.
Apply wisely, set yourself up for success, and you will have plenty of great options with nothing to fear (not dismissing the anxiety that comes with the college application process).
