Essays/LORs/Other
Essays are great.
LoRs are also pretty nice. Math LoR includes how I found a mathematical way of predicting the year on which a date lands on a specific weekday, Physics LoR includes my projects and how I created my own version of Biot-Savart Law for helical conductors.
You are a U.S, citizen living abroad. You are not an international student…although your application will be reviewed alongside applications from where you reside @skieurope do I have that right?
I’ll give the same answer as on your other thread. I think Purdue is likely but @momofboiler1 can comment. GTech and UMichigan…are maybes.
You said in your other thread that you applied EA…so you will hear soon, if you haven’t heard already.
Your academics and activities are viewed in the context of your area, but you are not subject to any international admissions cap. Additionally, if applicable, you fall under domestic for aid purposes, including eligibility for federal aid. However, since you’ve never only listed public universities, you will be OOS for admissions (including OOS caps), institutional financial aid (if even available), and tuition purposes.
Hello!! Thank you very much for your reply! I just had a question about this, however. I am actually slightly confused as to how I’ll be viewed as a student in a pool. Would I be “competing” against the people around me (international) but I will not be considered as an international? I was confused as to how that exactly works. Could you please help me with this? Thank you very much
