My school is notoriously competitive for a public school, so I’m hoping UoSC would look past the class rank when considering me for their scholarships… I’ve attended a couple events for highly ranked applicants they’ve set up (I know demonstrated interest is not considered, but it definitely made me want to apply)
Also, I’m applying under a math major, not a CS major. If I’m admitted with a top scholarship, I want to create a new major there for computational mathematics or something like that, since that’s something you can do in the Honors College program there.
