Just for future parents - Emory has merit based aid but you must apply prior to nov 15 to qualify. So if you plan to ED2 or RD, you still have to beat that date. You can always apply RD and then change to ED2. I remember we got that letter of persuasion as they want people to ED.
But make sure your app is in by Nov 15, even if you plan to ED elsewhere (in case you don’t get in).
