Chance me for REA Stanford [CA resident, 3.95 UW, 1580 SAT, Computational Biology]

Well, I see 4 ivy league schools on the list. Chances are, you’re going to get 4 rejections. Plus, it sounds like you’re ultra committed to computational biology. And it sounds obviously like a very limited major. I’m not all that well-versed on that field of study, but I would highly suggest NOT “selling your soul” to do that. I would advise opening yourself to more possibilities, especially for undergraduate. Computational biology sounds more like a good field of study for graduate school. Hyper-specializing too soon can “pigeon-hole” you into a career you probably won’t like, and it would be difficult to do something else without going back to school.
