<p>Actually, the rumor that it is harder to get accepted to UGA is totally false. You can get this straight off their web site at [UGA</a> Undergraduate Admissions - Top Ten UGA Admissions Urban Legends](<a href=“http://www.admissions.uga.edu/myths/index.html]UGA”>http://www.admissions.uga.edu/myths/index.html), but in short one myth response is Admissions standards are exactly the same for out-of-state applicants as they are for in-state applicants. UGA does not have a cap on the number of out-of-state students that can be admitted. You look like a strong applicant, but you are probably better off applying RD, especially since you will have to explain the imbalance of strong potential (SAT/ACT scores) and your lower performance (GPA) as well as going into detail about your ECs. The strong curriculum is definitely a positive.</p>
