I think you need to do 3 things.

Talk to your parents about costs. If there answer is don’t worry we have it covered no matter what than your good and you can weigh your investment options

Take a look at your list and ask yourself why each school is on there. Looking at lists and rankings are a great way to start your search but you need to dig down to the next level. If you like BC, because of the Jesuit education, proximity to a city etc, then start looking at Fordham, St Joes, Holy Cross, Villanova, Fairlfied… If you like UVA because its a large state university with lots students, and big time sports teams to root for then look at Penn State, Rutgers, Pitt… Once you do this then the next step becomes easier.

Put a lot of effort into nailing the Essays. After doing 1&2 you should have a great list of colleges that are affordable, support your academic interests and are personally a fit for you. Now you just need to articulate the why the school is a good fit for you and why you are a good fit for the school.
One other thing is look at your ECs and make sure they say something about you rather than filling additional lines on your application.
