Chance me for the texas a&m engineering academy!

Honestly, even though I’m kind of sad. There is some good to this. I now have my sights set on transferring to University of Houston.
-I wont have to worry about ETAM
-more diverse
-will easily get into computer science
-i can choose my schedule instead of having the engineering academy advisor choose my classes for me.
-The fastest way to get to spring branch (the campus required for academy students) is 30 minutes (and thats without traffic) and also that route has a toll. Now that I think about it, there would have been no way I could do good with that
-UH wont see my horrible SAT score

though I’m kind of sad that I won’t get to experience the aggie bond. Everyone seems really nice over there. But this application process has made me into a better person. I will not let this stop me from working hard and making past me proud. Best wishes to everyone. wish me luck!! university of houston here I come!!!

@currenteagle I’m sorry you didn’t get the decision you wanted, but your positive perspective on the whole situation is wonderful and will carry you far in life. Best of luck at UH. It’s a great program and they too have a good bond. And if after a year or so you aren’t feeling the love, you can always apply back to tamu for transfer, but I suggest you go into your freshman year with everything you got and build relationships. Enjoy the next phase. It’s pretty fun.
