Chance me for UCs and some Privates

@Deejaybui

You should be very careful with that. The rule is 11 credits total. Your school fills out the dual enrollment form and would not approve more than 11 units TOTAL. I suppose you can get around that by them not knowing what you actually sign up for. In that case, you would need to make sure that you don’t have that on your hs transcript because your school can get in trouble for that.

I also think its a problem because these classes are free to you in California. You are going over the amount of classes that are allowed and the school is getting payment from some source. (I honestly don’t know who reimburses the schools but that might be a problem)

One way that you can do this above board is to take your 11 units at a school that does semesters and then another class or 2 at a school that does a quarter system. To explain, you would take the spring semester and then a winter intersession at a quarter system school.

Not sure where you live but schools like Pierce College in Woodland Hills have a winter intersession because they are on a quarter system. Then a school like Santa Barbara CC is on a semester system.

You will do what you want :slight_smile: but just be aware that your school would unlikely approve you taking more than 11 units total from all schools. You might check with them…
