<p>unfortunately they will initially only see your lower GPA. if you really want to go to a UC then i would wait a year and boost your GPA. however there are some Cal States that will accept a GPA under 3.0.</p>
<p>good luck! i myself spent years kicking a-s-s and getting A’s in order to correct some (try 4 c’s and an f!) academic “mistakes” from the past. it sucks, but was definitely worth it! if you are serious about getting back on track, give it another year and have a GPA that you can stand behind.</p>
