<p>I’m a bit doubtful you have a chance, but they could take your unique situation into consideration. UC-UC transfers are inherently difficult. Nobody knows how you will be evaluated because of your situation, so perhaps you should call UCI admissions and ask directly. If you are transferring to UCI for something like pre-med or even Psych, I’d say don’t do it. It’s really competitive here and it might lower your GPA further. You seem to have a great opportunity volunteering at that hospital, and you will lose that if you transfer. Just stay at SB, try to increase that GPA, and get into your post-bacc.</p>
