Agree…and that is why this is a reach for you. The BM music performance auditioned students have to be in the ballpark for admissions, but their audition is what is key to their application, and acceptance.
The BA has no audition so therefore, you need to meet the academic bar.
As noted by @compmom, if this university allows an artist supplement, this is something you probably should include.
