Chance me for University of Michigan ann arbor school of engineering - 2023

Hi, I don’t mean to come off as confrontational here, but stats don’t mean everything for Umich.

I was accepted with a 3.75 GPA over a student with a 3.9 GPA. It’s hard to chance people because there’s so many factors that play into the review process; therefore, it’s unrealistic to assume you’ll have a better chance than someone with lower stats.

I’m not entirely certain whether this is actually true or not, but another student/friend told me that the school considers anyone with a GPA above 3.3.

It’s better to work hard on the essays (even STUDY for the essays. I spent a month writing TWO essays for Umich) and present yourself as a person moreso than an above-average statistic.
