Just a word about this…I agree with MWfan1921 that this is generally a good way to estimate your unweighted GPA. However, I know Villanova doesn’t use this scale exactly because they publish info on unweighted GPAs of admitted students that exceed 4.0.
In any case it doesn’t really matter. However you calculate it your GPA for sure will be on the lower side of admitted students. It helps that you are applying to CLAS (as did my kid) because those GPAs and test scores are probably a little lower than VBS and Nursing. Also more of a reason to submit 1410 because that may be close to mid range for CLAS applicants. You have applied - you’ll know soon! Good luck!
