You don’t know either of those is why you got the grades you did. You’re making an unprovable assumption.
If they would give you grace on outside issues, everyone would be saying things.
I’m not them but they have lots of kids with strong profiles. They can’t choose all.
Apply and see but I would not note these. That could be seen as excuse making.
