Also - finances? In general, students who are thinking of medical are advised to go for a cheaper route, since medical school is expensive, so starting medical school already in debt is not a good idea.
In general, the conventional wisdom on CC is that a person who wants to go to medical school should attend a solid school which is cheap, since GPA matters more for medical school than the prestige of the undergraduate college. Attending a college with grade deflation is therefore not a good idea.
