Chance ME *Important*

Read this thread on good medical schools^

Consider schools where interviews are important if you think you’d succeed at that (you seem to be really passionate/excited about a lot of things so I’m gonna say that you might be great at it).

A lot of times the best school to go to for pre-med is one where you can get good grades (grade inflation), not necessarily the schools known for the hardest coursework.

Northwestern has a lot of National Merit finalists, which I assume means that they like to have them, not that you’ll have more competition. Since we have similar stats (I have the equivalent of 32 ACT and the exact GPA!) I’ll list the match schools I’m looking into (keep in mind you probably have the better ECs): Northwestern, Johns Hopkins, Emory, Tulane, UNC Chapel Hill, Carnegie Mellon, and Northeastern. Also, University of Washington at Seattle is known for their research/med.
