Chance Me: Indian Male, 3.7, 1480 SAT for BSMD programs and Pre-Med

If there is no national ranking, you should not put that you were nationally ranked.

@somethings am I getting this correct?

AFAIK there hasn’t been official National competition for FTC so I wonder how his team could gain any national ranking.

I think what everyone is saying - look at what you’re writing - and make sure it’s accurate.

If you are checked and found to be wrong and you will not be the first time an AO has read this - than you have everything to lose.

To say, we led our division or performed at globals, will give you just as much cred.

It seems like - and it’s just my opinion - you over embellish EVERYTHING.

Be accurate
to what the world will see.

The fact that you did something matters more than you competed in a tourney. What did you do as captain? What skills did you demonstrate?

Sorry if i am beating dead horse.
If you copied solution from board in the class presented by your teacher, did you solve the problem? I would say no.
If you copied what machine showed you did nothing. You did not performed measurements. Machine did. All you did was copied numbers from display
So who “created prescription” -machine did!

My DD’S team did. And she was not presenting it like she went to the moon.
Any people who is familiar with Robotics know how it work. You have State, Regional and then World

Just seriously drop listing of all doctors you shadowed. It looks ridiculous. You sound like my daughter’s friend who started new club every other month and was a president of all of them. None survived. If you want to be a laughing stock just go as is. If you want to be taken remotely serious stop exaturating. Sorry, you are not remotely close to treating cancer or even being a medical technician. You are just like little girl who runs around with dolls and pretending to be a mother. You are HS student pretending to be a medical professional. The difference is that you are 18 and not 5. Sorry if I offended you
However, this is how it comes across for adults who read this thread.

For the whole day 20+ adults tried to explain HS students politely that the way he presents himself will not help him to get to BS/MD program. He did not get the message. I tried a bit more dirrect comparison that I hope he got. But it is his choice how to present himself
I honestly try to help not to mock OP.

OP either has a bunch of multiple accounts or they’re a group of friends sitting around spamming the thread. So closing
