hi guys! just wanted to say, CC was helpful when I was a wee lad applying for private schools, definitely had NO shot at any of the good ones though… coming from a basic public school w/o any knowledge of how private schools worked.

Yes, our rates for admission into top colleges is pretty high. We’ve got around 25-35 kids per graduating grade, the halls get a little stuffy with only 120 faces in the entire school to see.
Many of our MIT admits are because of competitions and awards. We admit many international students, previously mainly from China although they are looking to expand in diversity every year. Many of these students are already really good at various tests and competitions coming IN to the school, and then we send them into national competitions and they get into MIT. That’s essentially the “main” route we get admissions in. In terms of facilities, we have a pretty bad campus but the engineering and physics departments are relatively well funded.
