Engineering is the hardest college to get into within UIUC. That said, your GPA is lower than the averages, as is your SAT. I’m in the same boat. We’ll see, good luck!

There is absolutely no point of a chance me thread now!! Our fates are sealed and no one here can tell you what you’re fate is!! So sit back, try & relax and see your actual result on 15th!! :D

All the best!! :)

My roommate didn’t get in to the college of business bc they said they only want students with a college gpa of 3.75/4 and HIGHER. Engineering is even more competitive…

Food for thought :)

GOOD LUCK

Actually, Business is the hardest department to get into. Ironically, the Engineering dept has an acceptance rate of 70% from what I’ve researched. Business acceptance rate is about 40%.

I don’t know about acceptance rate, but the stats on the bottom of this page would lead you to believe that Engineering is the toughest college to get into from an academic standpoint.

Congrats, docheck21 !

Agreed, tonypa.

Oh, well…business & engineering are both competitive there… I don’t frantically care which ones beats which

i was accepted to college of engineering for computer engineering. do you guys think i could change my major?
