Where are you getting these admit rates? I don’t think your middle tier is accurate. I know Duke last year was below 5%
Some (all?) of these middle and least rejective schools should be under “most rejective,” imo.
Agreed. From memory, W&L acceptance was 14-15% last cycle. Plus they over enrolled and have had to get creative with housing so that is something to keep in mind for that school in particular.
I saw on Niche that Duke posted an acceptance rate of 7%.
Old data. Check each college’s website for the most recent info.
“ Duke admitted a record-low 4.8% of applicants to the Class of 2029 this admission cycle”
Definitely not correct. I did a quick search and based on schools that have reported, all of your mid tier is at or below 7% I think you have a great idea of having some schools at different levels. But right now you’re still extremely aggressive. You have 10 schools at 7% or lower and then Notre Dame at 9% Washington University of St. Louis at around 12%
I would put those two in your mid tier and find 3 more and then find 2 more for your lower tier.
Best of luck to you!
FWIW, Notre Dame is a very hard admit at our NJ public school; the percentage admitted in RD is lower for ND than MIT, Caltech, Hopkins, Penn, Cornell, Rice, and Gtown. (But it may be that the average applicants’ stats also are a little lower.) And I’m not sure if that translates to QB.
Looking into this, thoughts? Rider Tuition Guarantee | Rider University
Do you meet the income requirement?
On my way down to D.C. from Central Jersey last weekend, I cut through Princeton and saw this big Rider University sign… felt like I stumbled on a pretty good find if they’re offering free tuition for eligible students!
Yep!
How is your final list looking ?
Where would you live if you went to Rider?
I would commute.
My final list is the same as #498 with the addition of Rider University as a safety.
So you stick with very heavy.
Rutgers too I assume ?
Good luck
