Oh, I’m excited that IU is working out!!! (And hope the loans aren’t too burdensome.) I’m curious what happened to pull him back from the 99% certainty about Ramapo, a week ago. Did IU sweeten the deal? This specific program plus Hutton Honors seems like an amazing opportunity; I hope you’ll update us on how it goes!!

Loans should be ok. We’ll cash flow a lot of it, plus some savings, so we should be ok. One of the most important things for us was not sacrificing our retirement and while it will take a hit, we’ll be ok.
So what made him chang his mind was the major. He kept coming back to it and finally we just said “do it!”. They did come back with a lot more merit and that helped a lot. They more than doubled it. Still gonna be way more than it otherwise could have been if he stayed in NJ, but we feel the ROI will be good. We’ll find out!
