@darkray2000 , I mean this with no malice, but you seem to be a bit confused at what a good chance is. NO ONE (at least I hope not) is saying that any applicant aside from recruited athletes has a guaranteed chance for getting into a top 25 school. But a good chance? Absolutely! I applied to 14 schools (12 in the top 25) when I did college applications, and had “good” chances at all of them. Did I collect a couple waitlists? Sure. But I also knew that at different schools my chances of getting in were very good, even though those schools were in the top 25. My school had a program called naviance, and you could see that even at the best schools in the country, certain scores altered your chances of getting in and made them good. Again, I don’t want to start an argument or anything, but just wanted you to understand why people post chance me threads on here. Also, OP, seeing your ecs, I can see a common thread there…you are a natural leader who is inclined to forge your own path and support the sciences–just make sure colleges see it! Best of luck. You’ve done score wise what it takes to get in the pool, now try and distinguish yourself a bit and write true meaningful essays!
