<p>My extracurricular passion (singular, not plural), overall transcript, essays, and teacher recs probably spelled out, in ways subtle and obvious, something to the effect of “Unalove is an enormous dork who thrives on academic challenge and wants to be in the kind of social and academic environment that the U of C can give her.”</p>
<p>Also, you have a whole essay to write about why you want to go to Chicago. That seems like a direct address to the admissions office about why you fit in there (as opposed to your other essays, which might not be directly about you).</p>
